Most of us probably agree that the best coaches are those who have had some experience on the field.  Lance and I have over 50 years of combined marriage experience.  Through the ups and downs of life, we have managed to keep the flame burning - sometimes it's been comfortably warm, and other times burning the house down (in a good way).  We're both married to women, so... we get it!  Believe me, we get it!  Men and women are different - at every stage of life.  It ain't easy, but when it's done right, it's the most rewarding relationship you'll ever have.  We would love to help you over the inevitable humps in your marriage and celebrate your successes with you.  Join us on this journey by signing up for the GAME PLAN!

Curt has lived in Nashville, Tennessee, since 1992.  He moved here to chase a songwriting dream and ended up falling in love with Music City.  He grew up in Denton, Texas, and graduated from Baylor University, but if it’s true that “home is where the heart is,” the Rocky Mountains of Colorado are definitely his home.  He’s found his way to the mountains every year since he was born.  Knee deep in a trout stream, with a fly rod in his hands, is his little piece of Heaven on earth.

Curt has been in prison ministry since 2005, trying to encourage men to become all that God designed them to be. A significant piece of that is helping them understand the role of a husband and a father. In addition to working with men inside and coming out of prison, he has done a lot of pre-marriage and marriage counseling, as well as love and romance workshops for men and couples.

Curt married an unbelievable Tennessee girl, the love of his life, in the year 2000.  He and Emily are blessed with a son, a daughter, and two grandkids.  One of the greatest passions of his life is learning how to love his wife better.  He admits he has failed many times, but he is committed to getting it right.

He and his longtime friend, Lance, have been great encouragers to each other through the years as they have basically competed to see who can be the better husband.  The competition is fun, but the encouragement is priceless.  Both of them admit that they are better men and better husbands because of their friendship. And, as a result, their wives and children are the direct beneficiaries.

"Regardless of where guys are in their marriage, I want to help them find the joy and satisfaction that they no doubt experienced in dating, but may have lost somewhere along the way.  I hope you’ll join me and Lance on this journey!  You’ll be glad you did..."
